The Story:
Martha and several of her neighbors have lived in their homes for decades. As spouses have passed and physical demands increased, once-manageable yards have quietly become overwhelming. Overgrown brush and fallen limbs aren’t just unsightly—they create real safety risks. Our local Rotary Club is organizing a “Service Saturday” to help, bringing volunteers ready to work, but support to cover essential equipment and cleanup costs is very helpful.
The Impact:
Your contribution funds a heavy-duty wood chipper, yard-waste disposal, and fresh mulch to stabilize and restore these spaces. In a single day, stress is reduced, hazards are removed, and dignity is preserved. Most importantly, elderly neighbors are reminded they are not alone— that their community still shows up for them.
Help us out and Vote!
All of our daily "Good Deeds" first come to life as "Suggestions". Tell us which you favor most by voting for them. From this list our advisory committee then chooses the daily "Good Deed."

In 2026 we'll begin doing a Good Deed each day that relates to and highlights a need from a local faith organization, nonprofit or school.
While Good Deeds won't go live until February you can still get involved. Register (it's free) and vote for "Suggestions" you like. Then tell others so we build momentum heading into February.
